How I use Notion to design my everyday life

Notion is one of the most popular note-taking applications online. It has a simple UI with customizable templates and a lot of free features one can play with. I’ve spent one weekend on Notion designing my days according to the goals I have for myself. The entire process has been super easy because of Notion’s customizable templates.

Please note, I haven't paid for any subscription to do this, nor am I getting paid to write this, so please feel free to show your support through comments and claps :)

This is how I did it,

  1. Used a template called “Life Wiki”

What I love about this template is the ease of listing things under different categories of your life.

2. Filled it with more customizable templates inside

For eg., I created a category “health” and mentioned some things I need to track under it

As a personal productivity preference, I have aligned my tasks and habits to the goals I have for my health. Note that the “habit tracker”, “goals” and “task list” are also some amazing templates Notion provides

3. I placed every important info I refer to every day on the main screen

Lastly, all I needed was something on the main screen that would make me visit this awesome space I’ve created for myself every single day! and the only way to do it was to note some passwords I use every day on the main page so that I visit it as soon as I open my laptop. This is just a productivity hack I use as my security isn't breached here. Please don't do it if you share your laptop with someone else and don't do it with very important passwords. It's just a personal productivity hack, you can come up with your own :) Be creative!

Creating this has made me question a lot of things I do every day that led me to burnout, and frankly, it felt pretty good.
