The ultimate sign of success showcased in all the Wall Street movies and TV shows is an extremely competent assistant who would help our lead keep track of their day, their personal life, answer their emails, and provide great advice. The more I play with GPT, the more I realize we can all have that assistant now! Here are the 10 ways to make ChatGPT a part of your daily life and get the most out of the AI revolution.

  1. It can write for you — If you are anything like me, you spend a big chunk of your day drafting emails, presentations, or documenting the work you have accomplished. Checking the tone, making sure there are no grammatical errors, summarizing or expanding are all the laborious tasks that can be outsourced for free to ChatGPT. In fact, I’ve used GPT to help me compose this very article too!
  2. Let it coach you — Playing with GPT and asking it every question I can think of has become my new hobby these days. From what I have gathered, GPT is great at planning and organizing tasks. If you want to give it a quick try, ask, “Can you create a plan for me to learn JavaScript in 10 days and mention the topics I can cover on each day? Be elaborate with the topic descriptions,” and voila! You have your learning map. The best part is, you can ask it to explain and elaborate on each of those topics in the subsequent prompts.
  3. Let it manage your schedule — ChatGPT can act as your personal assistant by helping you manage your daily schedule. You can ask it to create a to-do list, set reminders, and even schedule meetings or appointments. Just provide the necessary details, such as the date, time, and any specific requirements, and ChatGPT will assist you in organizing your day.
  4. Delegate research tasks — Researching information can be time-consuming, whether it’s for a work project or personal interest. ChatGPT can help you by gathering relevant data, summarizing articles, or providing insights on various topics. Simply ask it to find information on a particular subject, and it will present you with a concise summary or answer based on the available data.
  5. Get creative ideas — Stuck in a creative rut? ChatGPT can inspire you with new ideas. Whether you need assistance brainstorming for a project, coming up with innovative solutions, or exploring different approaches to a problem, ChatGPT can provide you with fresh perspectives and suggestions to fuel your creativity.
  6. Assist in personal goal setting — Whether it’s achieving fitness goals, developing new habits, or pursuing personal growth, ChatGPT can assist you in setting and tracking your goals. You can discuss your aspirations, receive guidance on breaking them down into manageable steps, and even get motivation and reminders to stay on track.
  7. Support mental well-being — ChatGPT can provide a listening ear and offer support when you need it. It can engage in empathetic conversations, provide advice on managing stress, or even suggest relaxation techniques. While it’s essential to seek professional help for serious issues, ChatGPT can be a companion in promoting mental well-being.
